Anne Mackintosh studied Botany at Glasgow University and obtained a PhD in Plant Physiology. After the birth of her fourth child she attended non-diploma classes at Glasgow School of Art for three years. Portrait commissions include Royalty, politicians, and academics as well as private individuals both in the UK and abroad.
